Villa cycling tops
« on: March 03, 2019, 08:16:22 AM »
Mods - please move if this is in the wrong place. I'm looking to get a cycling top with claret body and blue sleeves. The cost is dramatically reduced for multiple jerseys so I'm seeing if any others want to go in with me. I'm not looking to make a profit, just get a good price for us all so if nine or more are interested I'll get it organised and only order when everyone is happy with product and price.

Where are you thinking of ordering from mike?

I've seen a few of these really limited run jerseys, we had some made for L'Etape du Tour a few years ago, I think we had 12 done for our Lantern Rouge team by a time in China. Quality can be really hit & miss. Another option is buying a base jersey from Castelli or Endura & having it screen printed?

I've heard good things about www.teejac.com

Guys, I did a template that came up at about 40 quid, until of course I reduced the number to 2! I'm busy right now but I'll try to look it out and put it on here. As has been said, there is a variety of quality and I want something decent not just a novelty top so I will put links on to a few of the big companies.

Last years Katusha one was a close Claret and Blue. (well close considering some of the shirts we had in the past).

Guys, this is a company called cliftonclothing.com and works out at £35. It's probably worth looking at the website to assess quality and other upgrade options.

If you're looking at around the 40ish quid mark, you can put me down as "potentially very interested" for 3. Especially if they can make it for the Velo.

Yep, it's not bad and (grumpy git alert) at least as close to a Villa top as the Luke one... yes I know it's sold really well but I like blue sleeves.
