Coventry City - Possible Explusion
« on: February 22, 2019, 12:12:44 PM »
"Coventry City could be expelled from the English Football League unless they can provide more clarity over where they will play home games next season."

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47331084

Putting aside the rivalry which was short term and one sided, this is sad to see and shows what happens when shit owners are left to do nothing.

They still hate us.  They’ll be back.

The Ricoh is never more than a quarter full and the only songs are ones about Villa.
St Andrews is the perfect ground for them to use.

I've searched my soul and upgraded my couldn't give a fuck attitude to an apathetic shrug of the shoulders.  My sense of fair play means I'm committed not to be hypocritical about this.  If this was SHA we were talking about I'd be desperately willing it to happen.

Maybe if they'd kept attending matches once they were in a division that didn't have Villa in it, they wouldn't be in such shit. But they'd rather go and watch the MK Dons of rugby.

Bunch of weirdos.

Vast majority of the time i'd feel for the fans but i'm struggling to give a toss about that lot. They still sing about us the sad gimps. Probably the saddest thing i've ever seen at a game was about 10 Coventry United fans turning up at Bromsgrove for a game a year or so ago and repeatedly singing "SOTV".

Only been to one game at the Ricoh - in the away end with Bristol Rovers last season with some mates from when I worked down there. Highlight of a very poor game was some bar manager standing up on the counter pre-match to announce “just so you know - we’ve run out of cider!!’

They were bouncing around London Bridge in October giving it the big one about us.

I really don't care about them and couldn't give a toss if they get thrown out the league.

Did make me think that they could possibly be a division below Solihull Moors next season.

SISU currently have disagreements with Coventry City FC, Wasps RFC, Coventry city council and the Ricohs previous owners Arena Coventry Ltd. Apart from that everything is hunky-dory ;)
