A poor player is a poor player.  There is nothing the manager can do about that.  We have poor players who are lazy, unmotivated and ungenuine.  The manager can do something about that.  It is what managers are paid to do.

He successfully managed one championship side enough to attract our attentions, and now he's managing another championship side, where's the big step up in that?
