Just watched it and was going to post but you beat me to it Mal.  His comments on Balaban towards the end were quite revealing.  Nice bloke our Dion and has deep affection for the Villa.

I was waiting for him to laugh at the Bosco bit, he wasn’t amused!

Smashing. Loved the Balaban and Crouch bits.

Superb watch. I saw it was on for 20 minutes and thought I would lose interest fairly quickly but I was transfixed by it and wish it was on longer.

Do you think he shows much love for us as a pundit?

Love Dion, a Leicester lad like myself, absolutely loves us, a good family friend who gave my dad and I free tickets for his debut. One of my favourite Villa games and one of my favourite Villa players.

What a superb interview. That whole period was weird for me because I'd just moved to the US at the time and the internet was very much in its infancy. Getting results was hard let alone match reports etc. It was such an exciting team as well and should have achieved so much more than it did. I knew he loved the club, I guess I didn't know how much. That was great.
