What is the story with Fred Guilbert?
Is he...
- injured?
- lazy in training?
- not good enough to start?
- pissing off Dean Smith or his staff?
- on strike?
- an enigma?

Let’s hope he’s not the next Matheiu Berson...

Looked great in pre season. Elmo must have the goods on someone.

He’ll be in against Everton I reckon. Along with Jota and Trez on the left.

I wouldn't read any more into it than Dean Smith bringing them in slowly which I think is fine. I'd play him against Everton though after today's result. Could do with his attacking flair from the start.

For me he was comfortably our best player in pre-season he showed just as much in the walsall game as the leipzig game; faster that Elmo, just as good a crosser and just as agressive so whats the problem? If its lack of prem experience thats keeping him out, then thats Deano's first major blunder in my opinion.

David O'Leary is not our manager. Thankfully.

I just think Smith likes having Elmo and Trez on the same flank for the time being, because they know eachother.

I couldn't care less if they're shagging each other! Guilbert is a far better player at this moment in time and should be in the team on merit based off his pre-season performances.

From what I saw, he should be first name on the team sheet.

I saw someone on Twitter ask if he was injured and he replied NO (in upper case).

I agree he looked best player against leipzig and very surprised he hasn't even made bench yet.

That would leave us very light on the right.

Jota has been shit for two matches when coming on, why on earth would we start him?

The pace is a bit much for Jota at the moment. I think Guillbert will play against Everton. It's all good going tried and trusted but we've now shipped 5 in 2 games.  We need more attacking threat from our fullbacks.
