Nice interview. How can not just love him? And he is very respectful to Bournemouth. Shows how well he’s been brought up.

I've said on numerous occasions "I love him"

I've been trying to remember the last time there was such enthusiasm to get a player - I know there is often a bit of excitement when rumours go around but this signing really stands out as being different. I'd like to think that TM knows it too! Everything about the signing is positive, and that's a real feel-good scenario which is not often the case at the Villa!

He is another that epitomises the team spirit we had since January culminating in the win at Wembley. Another piece of the heart beat (along with Jack and SJM) is together

And that is worth whatever we paid for him

Thanks Tone for your in depth analysis.  I thought you was going to be a great striker for us.  I was wrong.

Well he’d know all about signings who have very average seasons and turn out to be a disappointment and a ‘miss.’

If the performances from Mings next season are anywhere near to the average performances that Cascarino put in when he was at Villa, then we're fooked.  That said, what that guy thinks and believes is absolute shite and not worth listening to.

Why do you think that Cass?

T.C:  dunno just a feeling.

He didn't say that obviously, but its about the level of analysis we're dealing with.

Cascarino joins the other ex players who have shown themselves to be pretty crap pundits, Saunders and Houghton.

Mings is the most excited I have been since we signed Milner.

Very good club fit, scope to improve and on field leader

Saunders is very impartial and clear-sighted. I like him!

I have heard both Deano and Houghtons tactical expertise which basically sounds like early 1990s - knock it about a bit and play in behind them and force defenders into mistakes.Utter drivell. Deano does love Villa mind

Cascarino is one of the thicker Talkshite regulars
And bearing in mind the competiton no mean feat.
