Yes, a poor show by the Bears against Notts. Not helped by a succession of injuries meaning we can't field the same team in successive games. Just concentrate now on staying up in Division 1.

It’s easily the worst white ball Bears team that I’ve seen. Hain and OHD aside, the rest are just going through the motions.

We are crying out for a batsman that can dominate in this format because it’s dominated by the bat. However we sign bowlers and I can’t help but think that the management of the club is jumbled up. Five Blast matches without a win is shocking for a club with such resources.

Yes the pavilion is fantastic and the old one needed replacing but it seems to have financially stretched the club to the detriment of the team on the pitch. It’s shocking when you get outplayed by sides like Leicestershire!

There should be plenty of money after the World Cup and Ashes Test at Edgbaston coupled with T20 Finals day. Also some healthy T20 crowds this season.

Unfortunately not.

They borrowed £20m from Birmingham council to fund the new pavilion. They’ve been repaying interest for several years but the the first capital repayment is due in 2020 so I’m sure that any profits from the test and finals day gets swallowed up in servicing the debt.

Good win against a previously unbeaten Lancs and back in with a chance of top 4 now. Finally changed the batting order and it worked well.

As Rob Key was saying the other night, it makes such a difference if you have players scoring at 150+ which Hose did today.

Yep, whether it's 1 player or 2-3, if you can get 60 or 70 runs at close to 200% then the rest of the team can score at 110-120% which takes away a lot of pressure.

Was a good win Richard, though was looking in the balance a bit when Maxwell and Jennings were together.  Still a few too many holes in that side though and can't see them progressing to the latter staged of the competition.

Very good win by the Bears! We beat Lancs but lose to dross like Northants and Leics? Well done to Adam Hose who hit seven sixes in his knock.

Tidy bowling performance tonight by the Pears.  Looked for all the money like we would lose with Durham at 80 odd for very few.

Olly Stone now ruled out for the rest of the season with a back problem just to add to the Bears injury woes. This season has been unreal with such an extensive injury list. I still back us to avoid relegation. Step up Henry Brookes!
