209 all out with OHD getting a 5fer, 11.2-5-18-5

Over to you then batsmen!

Batsmen failing again. Seems poor discipline as well - Rhodes run out?? Why risk running the extra in a 4 day match ? Hose failed again, our bowling: 47 extras? including 22 no balls? OHD did very well but I'll be surprised if we get 200.

Half of those no balls were bowled by Henry Brookes.

As a guess I’d say Pears won’t be going 4 days vs Lancs - at 38/7 I was happy to see 172! To get them 5 down for 88 can only hope for a session of Manchester cloud in the morning to make it a game

Brookes was our go to bowler last year. Seems wayward, perhaps a confidence issue?

Could be, perhaps he's just trying too hard. This is where we will miss a seasoned pro in the bowling unit to put the proverbial arm around his shoulder.

Somerset are 83-7 in their second innings, a lead of 157. Liam Norwell has 6-27.

Now with a bit of application from the batsmen who knows what could happen? Oh wait this is the Bears.... BUT COYB!

Ambrose run out at a crucial time! Why risk it?? 2 full days left. As I said before lack of discipline. All the good work by Norwell has been undone. 2 run outs in this match! We're not playing white ball cricket.

Sorry, but I don't see us pulling this off to win. Ambrose run out was crazy. Need Bell back, but at least a couple of weeks I think? Even then he has to get up to speed. Terrible season, injuries have been unreal.
Pleased with Norwell - even he a missed all the other games!

The Bears batting lineup is nothing but a bunch of cowards and charlatans and has no chance of winning this game.
