I'm struggling to understand the negativity on this one.  From what I saw, after his first couple of games he wasn't just a capable stand in he was actually very, very solid at both right back and centre half.  Maybe his form will dip, but from the majority of his time with us I can't see any reason why he couldn't make a decent fist of playing in the PL.

He looks decent to me, can’t see any issue with this.

I agree, but it was left back.

Good player. Like him a lot. Not sure he's suited to LB but can do a job there, much prefer him at centre-half.

I like him I'm glad he's ours now and for the price we have paid for him I think it's a steal.

For his age and price it's a great deal, hope he finds a settled postion and kicks on.

He ended up filling in a couple of positions last year but with full back signings and potential CB ones too, I can’t see him getting a lot of game time unfortunately....hope he doesn’t get too pissed off. He seemed to perform better when getting a little run of games, don’t think that’ll be the case this time around
Feel sorry for him

Hause and Mings for me was our best CB pairing last season, so I’d be more than happy going into the new season with them both and any additional signings as backup.

A bit worrying that Hause didn't even make the bench today given so many injuries. Hause was excellent against Wolves in the cup. Why does Smith continue to put the inferior Taylor ahead of him on the bench? Hause is a much better defender - and can play Left back or CB.
