Player who hasn't played regularly since May 2017 looking horribly off the pace.

Can't say I'm massively shocked. This is a problem when you sign players who hardly play in months.

Indeed. Not exactly in the best place to make an immediate positive impact.

But it was a needless substitution in any case. Who on here was watching that shambles and thinking a change of centre half was what was needed to turn it around?

Guess DS wants him starting a.s.a.p (due to our other inept options) and so decided 20 minutes of competitive action was needed.

Not bringing on two strikers in a game you're losing 1-0 is beyond me though.

Yes well hopefully it was just rustiness in the context of a shambolic performance.

He looks Blues. He'll fit in nicely.

He’s not played in ages and looked exactly as you would expect tossed into a game where we are already playing shit. Let’s not go overboard on a bad debut. The whole team is fucking mince right now.

One of the first things Hause did was take a first touch that was basically a ten yard pass, meaning the second touch was a lumbering tackle where he fell over backwards with his legs six feet above him. It put me in mind of a flimsy Meccano-type participant on Robot Wars being flipped in the air by a speedy biscuit tin.

It reminded me of that charity football match where (thundercunt) Boris Johnson came on and immediately just bundled into someone.

That was a hilarious tackle. Eighteen stone of loathsome bastard stumbling head first into some poor bloke's side. Mind, today's ref would have given Boris the freekick.

I put the local Wigan FM station on when I got back to the car.  The two commentators on the game were pissing themselves laughing at Hause.  Saying despite everything they've seen at the DW this season, that was the worst performance from a defender they've seen.  Bodes well.

His second touch is a header. He reminds me of a Great Dane playing with a balloon.

We used to say the same about about Micah Richards except we said spaniel.  That worked out well didn't it.  Didn't it?l

It was a dog of a debut, whatever breed you wish to name it.
