Even something like 11 points would get us into top 6 as likes of Boro and Derby are losing form now and others are playing each other.

15 only really needed if catching Norwich/WBA is seen as realistic prospect.

The way those fixtures are beating Preston and QPR could definitely see us climb into play offs

Derby and Boro are 39 points and are meeting on New year's day !

Derby next 2 matches are Norwich and Boro.
Boro next 2 matches are Ipswich Home and Derby away

Dec 29th 15:00 A  Preston -     2-0   W
Jan 1st 15:00 H  QPR -             3-1    W
Jan 12th 15:00 A  Wigan -         2-0   W
Jan 19th 15:00 H  Hull City -       3-0    W
Jan 26th 15:00 H  Ipswich Town -    4-0  W      15 pts
I admire your optimism but us conceding 1 goal in 5 games isn't gonna happen.

Didn't realise Derby had such a nightmare run. They'll certainly be below us in next few weeks.

Boro are awful but I'd like them to stay in the play off mix as we always do well against them.

I allways get nervous when people start writing off the opposition and predicting winning streaks,.

Will be a tricky game. DS really needs to freshen up the 11 as we were so lacklustre out there, starts for Elphick, BB and Adomah. Move Bree to RB.

QPR bore draw today against Reading at home. Doubt they're too confident either.

Compared to where they were in August they will be. Won at Forest for first time ever in their last away game.

QPR have 10 points out of 12 conceding 1 goal, they're probably a more confident side than us right now.

I don't know Qpr very well. But I think they're essentially organised youthful and energetic

I really could see them beating us

*shrugs*

They'll come and sit deep and knock it long. I don't know (wait for it) whether we will beat them (its coming) but I'll be fucked if I start worrying about QPR comimg toVilla Park (here it is). We'll have plumbed new depths when I do.

Scars of last season really for me. In fairness even if we'd won 3-0 today QPR just seems a tricky opponent in our present state in a way Wigan and Ipswich in next few weeks shouldn't.
