2-0 to us, plus bring along an extra £2 as the Christmas Compendium edition of H&V is on sale from around 1-3 and 4.45 onwards outside the ground.

I would prefer to see Elmohamady at right back. There seems to be more chemistry between him and El Ghazi on the right-hand side than with Hutton. McCafu on the left if Taylor is out.

With Jack being doubtful, I think Lansbury alongside McGinn would work with Hourihane behind them playing his normal role.

Nyland (unfortunately)

Elmo
Axel
Chester
Taylor/Hutton

Hourihane
McGinn
Lansbury

El Ghazi
Bolaise

Abraham

2 - 1 the Villa.

Stoke players went to Dublin for 2 days for their Christmas do.

Good preparation that.

Lansbury less likely to be fit than Jack

If Jack isn't fit, rather than move players around, there's the option of starting Airport Boy

I'm going 3-2 on this but not sure if will be us taking all 3 points or the lot from North Staffs - until that defence is fixed I fear we will be facing a roller coaster ride each and every game UTV

This won’t be as straight forward as most are making out. Stoke unbeaten in 8 so we will need to be on our full game to take maximum

I'd love to see O'Hare start as he seems to be similar in style to Jack, but as he hasn't played yet I'd imagine Whelan will come in and Hourihane will play further forward. Whatever happens, we'll win.

They draw a lot don't they, Stoke?

I keep thinking this will be tight. And then remember that's what I thought against forest and boro
