Albert is back having trained all week but BB is out according to the OS.

Seems the positivity & excitement has died down already, 10,000 down on the crowd for tomorrow and only 2 pages on the pre-Match Thread.

3-0 lets get it going again, UTV!

Still 31,000 and Bolton have sold 300, which is 2500 down on what Swansea did.

I'd say 30k + for Bolton is pretty decent tbh considering the time and Bolton's small travelling following.

Next fixtures after will be back up to decent levels, SHA obviously a sell out and Forest and Stoke will both be around 35k as they'll sell their allocations.

Wasn't Bristol City at home last season a Friday night?

31k for Bolton at home on a Friday night on Sky is decent, if they'd sold out it would be 33k+. I remember us getting a crowd of about 26k against Bolton in the Premier League. No other team in this league would get that crowd whilst sitting 17th in the league, even Leeds would only get around 25k.

4-0 to us tonight. The march up the table starts here.

Come on the Villa, let's return to winning ways tonight. Out of the country so can't be there, but I'll certainly be following from afar. UTV

Unlikely to keep a clean sheet so 2-1.

Albert being fit is hardly cause for celebration, he has been mediocre for a long time.

I've no idea really, but we should win. We've shown enough to see off teams at home really but I have a nagging doubt that the new managers impact, in terms of results at least, might take longer than we would like.

2-2.

have we won on a Friday night?

Villa 3 Swansea 0 (Bremner, Withe and Morley) 21/5/82. We beat another foreign team 1-0 five days later.

Is Albert or BB fit?

If so I'd go with;

Nyland

Taylor
Chester
Tuanzebe
Hutton

McGinn
BB

Albert
Grealish
Bolasie

Tammy

That should be our best team I reckon.
