Does Wigan stay at 3pm, that's the only January game I'm concerned about.

Wigan should be fine (I'm hoping so as I've already booked train tickets from Edinburgh!) as the league agreed with Sky that there would be a minimum 5 week commitment for making any changes. Specific dates are below - it looks like they will release the remaining January TV fixtures tomorrow anyway to give you a bit more confidence.

TV selection dates 2018/19 (Illustrative but subject to a five-week minimum notice commitment)

Remainder of August Selections for 11 August to 25 August by 28 June
Selections for 1 September to 29 September by 27 July
Selections for 3 October to 10 November by 24 August
Selections for 17 November to 8 December by 12 October
Selections for 15 December to 12 January by 9 November
Selections for 19 January to 2 February by 14 December
Selections for 9 February to 2 March by 4 January
Selections for 9 March to 30 March by 1 February
Selections for 6 April and 10 April by 1 March
Selections for 13 April by 8 March
Selections for 19 April to 22 April by 15 March
Selections for 27 April by 5 April

Wigan game is definitely not a live game, as Sky have already chosen the live games for that weekend, Leeds v Derby, Millwall v Blackburn.

Might have to cancel my plans for Millwall v Blackburn.

I don't think amyone that goes to games is. It's on a par with Saturday evening.

Cracking in front of the telly with a chinese, though.

We always seem to play Brentford away midweek. It's one of a couple of grounds in the Championship I've not been to yet.

It's a pain in the arse. There's only three grounds in this league I haven't been to and we have two of them midweek.

Not for telly, but there are some potential fixture changes which may come about as a result of cup involvement. Thought I would list them as I am bored at work, and it might help someone if they like to make advance plans to attend games.

Ipswich (h), scheduled for 26th January, will move if either team makes Round Four. They're away to Accrington Stanley in Round Three so would be expected to progress.

West Brom (h), scheduled for 16th February, will move if either team makes Round Five. They host Wigan in Round Three.

Middlesbrough (h), scheduled for 16th March, will move if either team makes the Quarter-Finals.

Sheffield Wednesday (a), scheduled for 6th April, will move if either tean makes the Semi-Finals.

Note that potential replays are unlikely to cause rearrangements as Villa have free midweeks on the dates set aside for Third/Fourth Round Replays, while there will be no replays from Round Five onwards.

The biggest piss up in history, followed by the Villa running round the Bull Ring with the cup, obviously.
