Anybody else use 'Now T.V.' to access the games? Despite paying for a Sky day pass, I couldn't access the Bristol City game because there isn't a 'red button' facility on the 'Now' remote!  Is there another (legit) way of accessing the games (not home matches - !8 years s. ticket holder!) via 'Now', without selling my whole soul to SkyMurdoch?

In short, no. I paid for a subscription for the Bristol game, they gave me my money back.

Blast from the past - I recall playing Albion on a Friday night in December 87 just before Christmas. Anyone of the elder statesman know why this was moved at the time? Fairly entertaining 0.0 if I recall. I think BFR was managing them in his 2nd spell.
Maybe because it would be easier to police on a Friday than on the last Saturday before Christmas. Or because Russ Abott was due to appear in panto at the Hippodrome, they had some strange reasons in the late 80s.

I thought Murdoch didn't own Sky any more?

And never has

We're into November now and the Championship clubs are still waiting to hear what games will be on live tv over Christmas and New Year. It's a poor show from the TV companies, does it not occur to them that fans need to make plans for that period.

The Premier league live games go up to the end of January and they were announced sometime ago.

Our home game with Leeds is a cert to be on. It won't be the Friday night as Wolves Liverpool is on. It will be the 5:30 game on the Saturday.

Can't see Sky putting Stoke home or Preston away on. Swansea away on Boxing Day is a possibility, although Sheff Utd v Derby will be on I reckon.

They will announce the TV games for December 15th to January 12th next Friday (Nov 9th). They only have to give EFL teams 5 weeks notice.

I have read about the time when teams used to play each other home and away around Christmas time. That really stoked  my fire but has not happened in my supporting lifetime😕

A 0-0 draw and a rubbish game.  I’m sure Don Goodman missed a sitter though.  Moved to Friday because in them days that Saturday in December was normally bad for attendances so they wanted more there.

Hopefully they move the New Year's Day. Football has no place on Hangover Day.

I went to that game. The only thing I remember is seeing a WMPTE double-decker with it's windows put through after the match on Wellhead Lane.
