From the OS
Bjarnason
But he's had a long summer and I've tried to give him the rest he needs while I can.
I need him ready for this long marathon that we're about to embark on.
When we get to the middle of winter he'll be good for us.
Very convenient reference to WC there Steve but you are nothing if not an opportunist,  did you not think about ElMohammedy and Jedinak getting some rest?

The OS on twitter has posted up the highlights from last night. It's 9 seconds long and just shows the goal. That's got to be a piss take by someone who runs the club's twitter page surely?

To be fair it’s probably more to do with putting something half decent together from Sky’s eye-bleedingly awful coverage.

I watched it with Chico and he said it was like watching footage filmed on a mobile phone. First time I have seen the Sky red button mullarkey - it’s shit, but better than nothing. No replays, but there was nothing worth replaying anyway.

One thing I noticed is there is better footage with various cameras on the big screens at Villa Park but not on the TV broadcast.

Abraham had a handful of defender, I take it. Soft free kick, but no softer than the one given for our equaliser.

Did I hear Bruce make mention of a definite penalty not given? Was it something not on those highlights?

I felt there was a deliberate handball in the 2nd half. I assume that's what he's referring to.

I was at the game in the back row right in the left hand corner and couldn't see why the goal was disallowed or whether we should have had a penalty. Were we unfortunate not to get them? I thought the ref had a shocker but then I usually do until I see the replays. Haven't seen replays of either of those incidents though.

Just seen Ad's post, what about the disallowed goal?

Abrahams goal should have stood for me, and Nyland has no excuses for not saving theirs.
Jack is completely wasted out wide, and Bruces explanation/justification for that was pathetic.
