Xia gone?
« on: September 14, 2018, 04:44:14 PM »
Someone just told me that a massive £54m movement of funds with Recon today.

The entry on companies house says

14 September  - cancellation of shares.

Anyone know what this might mean? Has Xia gone?

Hope it's him and not the new men.

The entry is against Recon, not NSWE so that is Xia.

If it is true then, thanks Dr Tone for your initial enthusiasm and for selling to ostensibly sensible new owners.  Any chance whatever your next venture is you can find a position for Bruce.

All's well that ends well, we hope.  Two more points to add: sack Bruce, get promoted.

To be fair I think we got lucky twice. We needed Dr T when he arrived as I don't think multi millionaires were queuing up around Villa Park to buy us and Randy had pretty much written us a 'Dear John letter'. We then needed our new owners when Dr T proved to be likeable but less competent than required.

If he has gone then this can only put more pressure on Bruce to go, put in place by Xia, not one of the new owners choice, he can't lose or draw many more games, that for sure.

I strongly object to the cutesy nicknames for average 90s indie bands in that account's bio.

I’ll miss the Posts where some would try to unravel his Emoji filled tweets.

Xia has definitely been bought out entirely. His share was only allocated as £55m on recon side of ownership. With this being cancelled it means we have no ownership in the recon part anymore. Can only mean one thing

Yep, I've got no malice against the guy and wish him well.
