I agree. They seem to have a genuine rapport too. El Ghazi is probably a better player but is far more inconsistent. 1 and a half good games and he thinks he’s Ronaldo.

Some fans compared him to Ronaldo. I don't think he did.

To be fair, I thought he was Ronaldo after the boro game.

The think is he is stil more likely to pull something off than Adomah or the el gaz

Over 90 minutes? He's talented but from what I've seen, not a footballer. Circus act? Absolutely. If ever there was a footballer where the phrase, 'Shit or get off the pot' counted so much, he is that player. I'm not blaming his effort, I just don't think he's a £2.5m player, never mind a £25m player.

Snoddy he ain't but with his talent he could be so much more. Looks like a talent that missed or dismissed the training. I wish him the best but for me he's another passenger. All fart, no shit.

Apart from all those goals he’s set up...

Four. A total he shares with Elmo. Same number of goals too (2).

I look forward to him proving me wrong during the rest of his time with us. As PWS will testify, as soon as I have a go at a player, they score. Hattrick at Preston? Fingers crossed.

I think Bolasie has done alright since he properly came into our 11.

The issue is getting him the ball quickly enough to make an impact as off it he's a passenger and this was a problem v Leeds.

Stoke doubled up on him and he struggled to make an impression. As soon as Pieters went down he gets space and hit a brilliant cross for Kodjia goal.

I'd like to see Adomah on one side and Bolasie the other.

We know Albert is very disciplined so he can track back and he'll get his crosses in so that should give a bit more licence for a maverick like Bolasie to be more of a free spirit.

El Ghazi flatters to deceive. He's back to mediocre level.

With Jack out of the side it's far easier for opponents to set up to stop our wingers

Off the top of my head I can think of 8 goals we've scored because of him, on top of the 2g/4a mentioned, he's won a penalty and the pass to Hutton yesterday. Considering he still hasn't played 8 full games minutes wise for us, that not too shabby.

He’s unpredictability is brilliant. Defenders don’t have a clue what he’s capable of. Same with El Ghazi. I know it doesn’t always work out and it’s fantastic when it does. I love quick, strong and trick wingers. It ain’t Villa without wing play.

I think he’s very useful, he does silly stuff sometimes but his enigmatic play is a big asset.

I saw a stay earlier where he was averaging an assist every other game. One of the best in the league

Assists don't tell it all, they only get counted if the ball ends up in the net.

It was a thing of beauty he was involved in yesterday. I'm luvvin 'im. As alluded to in that report put up in the Tactics thread, I like my wingers wingery, not simply little more than cover for the fullback.

If you didn’t get excited by that amazing bit of skill he produced in the second half against Leeds then there’s no point following football.

That wizardry against Leeds is the latest addition to my Scrapbook of Villa Magic Moments on the next page to Jack Grealish making a Sunderland defender fall on his arse without moving a muscle and Christian Benteke jumping higher than the crossbar to score against the same opposition.  The photo of CB hangs on my bedroom wall where he is leaping so high the head of Andy Weimann (also leaping) is level with CB's waist.

So poor yesterday it’s as if it was bolasie v Preston and if Preston got the better of him he would simply give up.  He’s not a team player and that’s sad because he can contribute when he’s on it
