He's the type of player that can win you games on his own at this level. He's not consistent enough for the PL and not someone if we do go up I'd like to last our 30m on. Everton got mugged.

Wasn't he very good at Palace? That was a mess of an Everton side last season and very few if anyone shined in it. Wouldn't hold it against him.

Bolasie's pace and strength will always help him in this division but he hasn't come close to someone like Snodgrass' impact thus far.
A few motorway service station meals should sort that.

Snoddy benefited hugely from his loan spell with us, even if he did put weight on whilst at VP. Has looked very good for west Ham this season.

True dat; and he would still be with us were it not for tenuous takeover timings.

Still, both parties benefited from the loan arrangement.

He won't make it anywhere until he plays for the team and has more consistency.  Yes, it's lovely when it comes off, but I want him to do it so much more often, same as Jimmy Danger.  Brilliant when it works, but they need to take the right decisions on the pitch. Keep it simple, stupid!

I'd be bringing Adamoah back in. Should be one of Bolasie, Kodjia or El Ghazi on the other side until they start putting a shift in defensively.

I still don't get why he's playing on the left. Put him out on the right and you'll see a more effective player. Smith is wrong playing him where he is.

He hasn't been playing exclusively on the left though. Him, Kodjie, El Ghazi and even Abraham have been pretty fluid in the positions along the front-line. Bolasie set-up McGinn's goal at Derby with a brilliant cross from the left-handside, as an example. Kodjia, set-up Hourihane's coming-in from the right-handside yesterday. I wouldn't say that Smith is doing anything wrong in terms of our attacking play.

But his assists have mainly come from the right. He seems to be overdoing things on the left. Just my take on it though.

His productivity has been pretty good though

But I agree our full backs need more protection. I'd play adomah and el ghazi v Swansea I think

His left foot is shite and he's lazy at tracking back.
