Bet he does Mr U.  That's if you mean Yannick.  If you mean his training acquaintance at The Belfry nah, too musclebound.

I bet he doesn't play a full game for us.

I'll take some of that. Twenty quid?

I'm not overly fussed if he doesn't play a full 90 minutes, as long as he makes a positive contribution when he is on the pitch.

In 27 minutes of play v Swansea Yannick passing accuracy was at 85.7 %
Decent average.

Compare that to Abraham who 47% under half time he gave ball away .

Bolasie is decent with a football

I think it shows a lot in the realms of passing.
If had stats for distances covered and other numbers to indicate pressing then that too would show a lot.

I've got to say I'm pretty impressed he was training at 8.30pm in the gym on a Sunday night in a week he's had two games in Aftrica and a sub appearance on Saturday.

And I'm with Drummond, why be confrontational with a player who is in his down time and may turn out to be a key member of our team this season?   Some people just like to be hard I guess.  And then tell everyone about it.

No he wasn’t confronted I merely had a chat with him on my way past him in a gym,not his lounge or some private VIP area.He didn’t take umbrage with what I said but stated he was jet lagged.  I bump into our players and staff there all the time , they aren’t gods they are paid employees of our club  out in a public place .I don’t feel the need to dress up what I saw on the pitch from yards away as something it wasn’t .likewise if he’d had a brilliant game or just joined the club I’d welcome him accordingly.

Well I welcome your share and you're entitled to your view and that you spoke your mind.

What's good is you were honest in what you wanted to say .
I don't know why everyone else is on your case as that should be resreved for cabbage throwers and discriminators.

Quite opposite you were being honest and sounds like Yannick was too!!

For me bolasie is all about energy as a player and also he's in the gym ! That says a lot

Some times in life people don't get things or choose to question or ridicule if they wouldn't act or speak in that way themselves . What's nicer all round is the understanding and that brentastonb6 here kindly shared his interaction .

And feel free to post anymore info or informal chats you have with villa players this season !

Thanks

I never knew anything about Bolasie before he joined us so I've been interested to hear what other have to say about him. In the short time I've watched him he seems to be an 'awkward' player, not fluid, very much like Kodja. I'm not sure the team can support two awkward players.

Maybe Smith can straighten them out but I very much doubt it.

Hopefully we can send him back to Everton in January. Pulis dodged a bullet there.
