Be good to go after Reading from the start and not ease up.  W in here will set things up nicelty for the international break.  Our fixtures up until December are pretty good to be fair but these are the sort of games we need to win.  A clean sheet every so often would be nice too.

I assumed the break was next weekend too but it's actually the weekend after.

Should be an easy win, but you wouldn't trust Bruce not to blow it 2-1

Expect some changes with third game in a week.

Like to see Bjarnason come in for Whelan, literally anyone for Jedinak and someone on the wing.

Green ahead of Axel would be a lot of pace and maybe give Green some confidence to beat a player.

I certainly think Kodjia could have a good day tomorrow. 3-1 Villa with usual silly goal conceded.

I'd freshen it up a bit as we expended a lot of energy on weds. Reminded me of the wolves game last season. Whelan, adomah and mcginn looked tired

Can't see el ghazi or green starting

So:

Nyland

Tuanzebe Chester Jedinak Taylor

Bjarnason

Elmo hourihane grealish adomah

Kodjia
I can’t see Green being anywhere near the first team squad for some time to come after his performances so far this season.
The choice to drop him and replace him with El Ghazi is an easy one to make.

I think Green is a talent, but agree with Andyh that he was devoid of confidence the other night, does he need a loan as he really has talent?

For some reason Green seems to have lost his spark. He was pish when he came on against Ipswich and again on Wednesday. Maybe him hearing that we're signing 2 quality wide players in his position has took the wind out of his sails. There's a player in there though so I think he needs an arm round his shoulder and some encouragement not a loan spell in League 1.

Agree about Green against Ipswich and Brentford.  The wider he is the less confident he becomes.  He constantly tries to go inside the defender and is not helped by Hutton since he scored a goal thinking he is the Scottish McParland.
