Look, both clubs are in the same place at the same time tonight. Can we just swap managers and shake hands?

It's almost like Bruce wants to get the sack ...

Unlikely I know, but could be Tuanzebe in the middle, Hutton left and Elmo right back, with Jedi in midfield.

*Crosses fingers*

Haha think through it logically and then consider who the manager is
Ha yea and that would be mean Jedinak and Whelan in midfield...pace to burn...

Whelan and Jedinak as a midfield two...at home v Brentford 🤨

Jedi will be centre back but it's an awful team selection. Not a fan of leaving Hourihanes goal threat on the bench either.

Its an awful team selection, truly awful and I've defended Bruce a lot on here

Another selection that pushes him closer to the door.  He’s never had to set a team up to win a game.

As everybody at Ipswich was saying, you can't  play Jedinak that deep.  He is too error prone and errors in deep positions are terminal.  If he does it further up the pitch, and he will, there might be some chance of mopping his mistakes up.

That line-up doesn't surprise me in the least tbh. I've no doubt the mighty Brentford have been rubbing their hands together since they saw it. 'Sake.  ::)

If one detach oneself from the emotional reaction...you have to feel bad for Bruce.

Even IF his team makes promotion he can never last at the higher level. Its always going to be unacceptable to
manage that amount of talent and being unable to consistently harness it into a football philosophy that will placate the fans.

It doesn't matter if its Villa, Hull, Wigan or even some B-team ... you play unimaginable negative football with a talented team and hit a rough patch....its game over and next club. That is the real pattern for Bruce...not the promotion specialist who is always backstabbed by fans and owners.

That says to me he shouldn’t play full stop.

Dick.

It’s possible that the Championship has actually progressed past Bruce.

Win FFS. And play some good football. Brentford will try to do the latter
