How very Small Heath. Except that it will occasionally be full.

I think the most Small Heath but not Small Heath thing I can think of was Everton calling their new shop in the Liverpool One shopping centre Everton Two, so the address read:

Everton Two
Liverpool One.

That's peak Small Heath is that.

I imagine it sent shivers through the sisters of all Everton fans.

They are bitter the Evertonian lot.

"Welcome to Manchester" when Man City signed Tevez. Just be something about being a 2nd club in a city or region which brings out the Small Heath in you.

The stadium looks top banana to be fair to them.

I appreciate how childish the capacity is too, 1000 more than their neighbours.

I noticed that as well. It’s a backhanded compliment to Arsenal really, something our pathetic neighbours from Small Heath would do if they ever got the chance (ha!).

Literally the first post in the Small Heath Thread is David Sullivan boasting about getting a bigger ground. Not to boost their finances, improve their prospects or increase their chances of silverware. No, it's because he would "love to get one over on the Villa!"

When even the Chairman is that obsessed there's no hope for a club.

Maybe if everyone at the club pulled together to get a club and a team their fans could be proud of they wouldn't have to deflect all their problems and try to get their fans onside by having pathetic digs at The Villa. It is fine for fans to have a go at their local rivals but when it runs through the fabric of the club from the owners to the players with all the KRO/SOTV stuff it is pathetic.

Didn’t arsenal increase the capacity of their stadium over the summer just to sneak back ahead?

Having googled it, the answer is ‘not quite’ they’re adding about 700 extra corporate seats.
Amazingly one article said the stadium is already half way through it’s designed life.  Seems like yesterday...

Several clubs like Spurs - the most bitter ones for hatred of a bigger rival just because they are a  bigger club

Blues
Everton
Spurs
Leeds

Harsh on Leeds. I’d say they were bigger than Bradford.

I'll admit I did a double take on Leeds , and thought who's their rivals. The penny did land , eventually. It's a bit like our one way rivalry against teams way beyond our B6 postcode . Coventry spring to mind .
