cant see it happening in McCormack's case. Even allowing him on loan for the remainder of his contract would make more financial sense. Beside in a team that suits his style of play he'll do well and Bruce would look a right chump if he ends up firing a rival into the premiership while we are stuck with a misfiring Kodjia

I personally think we should honour their contracts. Micah Richards is clearly injured as a healthy fit Richards would walk into the team. If he is deliberately unfit then he would be fired. As for McCormack if every player that fell out with a manager got fired there would be a lot of free transfers.

We cannot on one hand expect players to honour contracts and not sign for other clubs, like say Spurs for example, and not pay injured/ out of favour players.

If we settle their contracts to get them out the club then fair comment, but I think that only applies to Richards.

One paid off, one to go. But surely we shouldn’t be paying off McCormack

Do these help ffp? Perhaps writing off nominal transfer value?

All i've seen is one Villa site saying Richards has been paid off. I'll hold off celebrating until it's confirmed properly. Here's hoping though.

McCormack isn't liked in the dressing room. No point in trying to rehabilitate him as it's too far gone. He won't apologise either so why the hell give him a chance.

Richards is different, he's just not up to it any more but not enough to finish him career-wise.

Get rid of both.

Richards is or was on £35k a week, if he has been paid off I trust it'll be compromise agreement style ie here's our offer, we'll negotiate around the edges but basically fuck off and not a fully paid up to contract end arrangement.

Mcormack is a different case. Sunderland-Glasgow Rangers are interested in him. So why just pay him off and then he goes and has a career with another team after paying ridiculous money for him ….

Plenty will want his goals but not his wages

Richards is on nearly twice as much as Jack!! How must he feel about that? Get rid of Richards and McCormack ASAP! Jack deserves a new bumper contract....

Can't the club get Richards involved in the coaching staff, even if it's coaching some under 9s team in Sutton Coldfield? At least get him doing something for his money.

Possibly likewise for McCormack if he can't be either loaned out, sold on, or reintegrated.

I think we should try to see if McCormack and Hogan can play together upfront in upcoming league cup game.

I'd say we could get them helping out with the catering but they'd only eat all the profits.

I’d have him painting the lines in the car park.
