Two massive come back wins in a row. Lots to improve but 6 from 6 is a superb start.

Yep 2 wins from losing positions. Rare as hens’ teeth last season.

Chester first scorer each way at 20/1. Nice.

Provided he can get forward Thor has goals in him. For me, his best position has always been further up attacking. Our new number 7 looked surprisingly useful, I can see him scoring a few screamers this season.

The defence looked very suspect, but Jedinak was back there so that pretty much explains everything.

Under Bruce we have to get used to this, grinding out the result, one after another, one win after another, keep doing it, another good result today, 2 in the bag. so far so good.

There is an argument that would state a match with 5 goals that ends with a last gasp winner is kind of exciting...

2 wins. 6 points. Can live with that. A lot to sort out but great to be in this position to sort out things to improve us....I fuckin love Aston Villa.

Winning is exciting, the football was anything but mainly due to his bodged team selection. The best thing that happened today was Wigan taking off Powell, which just goes to show, we're no the only club with a dumb manager.

Great result but woeful football. Especially the second half.
Good debut from McGinn. Looks a decent signing.
Still no idea what Tuanzebe brings to the team that one of our young un’s could try and do instead. On less money and more passion.
The new keeper, the juries out.
Kodjia? We should have got another striker in, so at least he can be dropped if needs be. Has been awful for the first two games.
Anyway onwards and upwards. Up the Villa.

I think any new goalkeeper playing with that defence in front of him might be nervous

ok so manure fans say Axels best position is CB , put him there
and put a RB in Axels position .
And start with RHM . Kodja looks non league

simple..

Thought Grealish and McGinn at times looked great together , going to be a great duo and JM is excellent at set pieces too and a tiger in a tackle.

maybe the goalie was nervous , give him time.

That ref was awful.

Excellent day overall. We can do this .

I’ve just discovered that we won, thought it ended 2-2 and then looked on here to see won, BRUCE OUT!

the ref was awful, agreed, but pretty much standard for this division I'm afraid.

Wait until we get a few more points on the board and then watch it change.
