I can see SB just going with what we have and using cover and the versatility of right backs.

Shame as balance is needed but I Rather I take Abraham and no left back. (just) due to 5 loan rule

And looking on squad i don't know if Jedinak will get much game time or even bench time when all fit.

Think he just kept on in offering professionalism to squad and he'll be let go in summer.

He went from centre half to half out the door .
Really could see him struggle to make 18 man squad when all fit.

In numbers why do I get the feeling we are less off than before?

No Natural replacement for a seriously weak spot (LB)
We have reduced our attacking options by letting RHM  / Hogan go out

Mings is a LB no?  And we only play one out and out striker as a rule, and 3 should cover that one comfortably.  We've brought in plenty of faces at the back, and several of those sre (we think?!?!) capable of covering more than one position.  Our squad has been bloated for some time, and thinning it will hopefully promote a more happy dressing room as less players will be kicking their heels bored.  A number of our younger players have gone to get game time at lower levels where they stand the chance of actually seeing some first team action rather than wasting away in the U23's or whistling dixie on the bench.  Of course I would have loved us to sign a couple of stars, and made Abraham a permenant member of the squad, but we haven't got the ability to do that at this time.

With everyone fit I think we'll see:

Kalinic

Hutton Chester Mings Hause

Carroll Tuanzebe

Green Mcginn Grealish

Abraham

I might have the left side of the defence the wrong way round but I think they'll both play. That's 5 loans so no room for El Ghazi on the bench.

I like that side paul_e let's hope they all get fit soon.

My subs would be :

Steer
Elphick
Hourihane
Lansbury
Adomah
Kodjia
Davis

Strong bench, bye bye Whelan Taylor Jedi etc

Sounds about right, with Axel in front we'd be fine with just the 1 defender as we've got plenty of options to move people around.

I like that however I going to go Taylor and El ghazi in there for hause and green

I also not sure Smith would play Tuanzebe in midfield either he's playing full back or centre defence .

Elphick I guess has to earn his contract
And certainly think Jedinak and Whelan will be leaving maybe Hutton and Elmo too.

Edited to end of season, if we let all of the players out of contract go, and all the loanees, and don't include current academy players

Goal - Kalinic / Nyland / Sarkic / Sinisolo /

Centre Backs - Chester / Revan

Fullbacks - Elmo / Guilbert / Taylor / Bree

Defensive Midfield -

Central Midfield - Hourihane / Bjarni / Lansbury / McGinn /Gardner / Tshibola / Doyle-Hayes

Attacking Midfield - Grealish / Adomah / Green

Strikers - Kodjia / Hogan / Davis / RHM / McCormack / Hooper

Major rebuilding in the next few transfer windows IMHO.

Gardner is out on loan until June this year, and out of contract June 2020, unless he gets a new contract in the mean time.
