massive bids incoming in January?

I doubt it.  You have to laugh sometimes.

I'd be surprised if clubs further up the current food chain weren't keeping an eye on him.

They absolutely will be - he is excellent. Same would go for at least a couple of our other players as well I would imagine.

None of them will be going anywhere in January though.

He's took to the PL like the proverbial duck to water. Doesn't look fazed by it at all.

It's absolutely certain bigger clubs will already be watching him. Klopp commented on how good a player he was just last week.

It's up to us to be a better team to keep him happy where he is.

True which is why it's nonsense that McGinn would consider an half arsed club like Man Utd.

If we are languishing down the league, it has to be a possibility.
He is hot property.

Yes, I'm pretty sure Man United run most of their potential transfer business by forgotten former journeymen strikers who now work for Radio Leeds.

If Noel "not as good as Glen" Whelan says it's true, it's likely true. Just need Darren Gough to 100% confirm it.

SJM was sensational again yesterday. His energy, determination and incisiveness in possession are just a joy to behold. He is playing at top 4 level right now.

I can't think of a Villa player I've enjoyed watching so much in 20 or 30 years or so. He's exactly what you'd hope a Villa player could be.

Just got to ward off the vultures who will certainly be circling.

He’s like a better James Milner.

He had a great first half but didn't do much 2nd apart from scoring.

Fading in the 2nd half has been a bit of theme with him - maybe he goes to hard and doesn't pace himself?

Currently not as good as Milner at his peak for me, but if he carries on improving he'll get there

Everyone has there price it’s the nature of the sale that we need to get right. He has recently signed a new deal (was it 5 years?). Sell him at 26, to a club abroad and for big money. That’s if he wants out because you just never know.

He’s no technical Gordon Cowans or as fast as Tony Daley / Tony Morley , but as commitment, warrior, always positive driving forward, scoring goals , tracking back, I’ve never seen anyone better since going to VP from early 70’s.

All players have a shelf life, but I just can’t get my head around him ever playing for anyone else !!

Yes, or a harder-working Delph. His close control getting out of tight spots is unbelievable.

Got to be worth 75m already going on his performances so far this season. Our most valuable and important player for god knows how long.
