I wonder if he has a release clause, and would like to speculate on how big it might be.

It's very Aston Villa having a person within the club who all the fans love and who also happens to be Scottish.

Andy Gray certainly,  Alan Evans, Alan McInally briefly, Alan Hutton...we did didn't we? especially for that goal. I'm sure Villa fans of yesteryear loved Archie Hunter.  There's probably more I know.

SJM gives his all every game and that's what we want to see from a player.  Goals, great goals, 90 minutes non stop, even running the entire length of the pitch to find a corner flag to park yourself there.  you gotta love SJM .

I mean this in all seriousness...If we have a release clause of anything less than 100m we are fucking mental. If 80m for McGuire is acceptable this year, what will prices be like in 2years. SJM like Jack is going to make people sit up and take serious notice this year

I'd rather have this than a new striker, I think.

McGinn could probably do a good job for us up front, anyway.  :P

Absolutely over the moon about this.
Super John McGinn epitomises everything we are.
It's clear that he loves Villa as much as we love him.
Newton Heath was never in the hunt.
Their time is fast approaching.
