Is it our natural position to just become overly pessimistic as soon as we come across a good thing? He's going to burn out, get injured and be sold?

I worried like mad when he went down injured near the end.

Lose him from the midfield and we're done for.

I know Tammy has bagged all the goals, but he's my Player Of The Year, easily.

He's still only 1 yellow from a 2 game ban. I worry every time the ref 'has a word' with him.

Yeah - mid-March, after 37 games, so after the Forest game. Walking a bit of a tightrope to be available for the Bloose game

McGinn in confident mood after beating Ipswich.

Said this

"I think we played a lot better. It was clear to see. We moved the ball a lot quicker. We had a lot of chances – myself included. That’s something I will be working on but, overall, the three points were absolutely vital.

“We need to use the win as a springboard. We have a tough run of games coming up. Everyone knows that.

"But that’s where, previously, we showed our best performances this season.

"If we can get a win against Reading next weekend and carry that on, then who knows what could happen.”

Since Rodgers wanted McGinn at Celtic, there might be some truth in this one

The fact that the Mail can't spell Leicester in the url doesn't help the story's credibility :)

I can see why we may need to sell Jack and of course may not have an option given the release clause.  However, unless we are desperate for the cash I see absolutely no reason why we shouldn't insist McGinn stays for another year.  I hope we just make that absolutely clear from day 1 of the transfer window.

What a load of rehashed old shite, we shouldn't be falling for clickbait like that any more!  Nothing of any substance in it at all and no quotes about JM from beyond when he signed for us.

Depends if they offer silly money, and they may - they spent 25m on a Norwich player last summer. Given the money situation with FFP, could be a case of him or Grealish given we're losing so many players this summer anyway and will need to spend at least some money just to field a team.

The bar should start at, at least 25mill if that's the case.  A very tidy profit and a sell on clause for when SJM moves to somewhere bigger and better. That said, I'd rather keep him and build the side around him with a tighter midfield five containing him and Grealish.
