He deserved kicking but credit where it’s due. A great signing

Mcginn hasn't been at levels and actually he could do a role like Fernandino and play deeper letting others play further forward but also drive forward him self.

I think if he plays left side or deeper rather than right side of midfield

Does have tendency to give ball away but win it back lately maybe tiredness his play hasn't been above 6  but due to his energy and in comparison to others it looks like he's playing better .

However some of his football play and senseless bookings need working on to improve

Player of the Season so far.

He's just knackered.

If we don't go up and lose Jack, we have to keep McGinn.

Don't think he's even that knackered as he kept up with Eze in the 97th minute the other day.

Good point.

His knackerdness comes in spurts, from which he soon recovers. In that respect, he reminds me very much of my brother's Cocker Spaniel, Charlie. He will run up and down the Malvern Hills for an hour before retiring panting under a bush, and you think he is going to peg out. 10 minutes later he is off again.

I would like to know what his best role and position is,it is difficult to tell with the players and system we are using.

Having to come too deep at the moment to collect the ball. The man is a terrier

I think his best position is as an 8 alongside grealish. He gets around the pitch. He'd be wasted sitting deep

Grealish & McGinn roving just behind the front three - Newby at DM (whoever that may be)

Mcginn is the key to us being able to press teams high up the pitch, for a while I thought he'd be good in the defensive role but I've changed my mind on that, let him go further up field and chase the ball.

He’s an obvious talent but less obvious is a system to play him in, Ive said it before but he doesn’t get involved in build up play enough for me and, given his excellent energy and striking technique, he hasn’t influenced scores as much as she should have.

Completely agree.  I was hoping he'd step up a bit more after Grealish's injury, but he hasn't really.  I'm hoping his relatively poor performances in the last few games are down to fatigue, rather than Smith not knowing what to do with him.

he's an enabler he creates the space and ball for the likes of Grealish to perform well

hes our own little modern version of Des Bremner, but Des had Mortimer, Cowans, Morley to get going,
at the moment Mcginn working with Hourahane, Whelan, Barny,

its not quite the same, he needs some quality around him and he will flourish
