Can't believe we've lost Samba.

With his size and lack of pace I am sure we will be able to catch him and bring him back.

No number for McCormack, so presumably he won't be registered in our squad for the season.  Unless I've missed some news and he's gone out on loan again somewhere.

No Richards either -  bloody money well spent

Bizarre any club short of money would try to ignore assets that cost 15m. One thing not playing them, another to try and make them totally disappear off the face of the planet. I think we all know they're not in Nan's hair's plans but to sell them, even at a massive loss, clubs have to know they exist. Bruce must really hate McCormack and Tish

It can't be only us that have these problem players... £15m and with Richards it must be knocking on £100k a week in wages...

I'm not sure Tshibola could have ever been labelled a problem player apart from being deemed not good enough, but there's plenty of them at the club who aren't being erased from the records. Whole thing smacks of being personal.

Agree completely.  If I was the owner, I’d have made sorting out their situation so that we could get at least something back for them part of the deal of keeping Fistface in a job.

You say that in a way that suggests they haven't.

It seems fairly clear that they haven't. Not giving them a squad number is petty and childish. Thought we had seen the last of this nonsense when Lambert left.

Surely with limited squad sizes if we are looking to add players some numbers need to be left free.

I don't see any evidence of that.

I'm pretty sure that there aren't any clubs out there that won't be aware of the players, and if there are, the agents involved should be bloody shot.

You can give as many players as you like squad numbers. They can all, at least, play in the cups. You only have to finalise your 25 man squad at the end of the month. Choosing squad numbers has no bearing on  how many players you pick for your 25. Some clubs even have trite nonsense like "The Fans" as twelfth man. They don't lose an available squad place to do so.

What club in their right mind is going to pay for a player who hasn't played, and who they haven't seen play.  At least if they were appearing in reserve games, they'd be keeping up their fitness and who knows, might actually prove their worth if we get another injury crisis in the season.

I agree with cd, I thought this sort of rubbish was left behind with Lambert.  The bomb squad idea was a bad one then, and it's a bad one now.

They could take them on trial, as that's a longstanding method of assessment in football.

Perhaps for Tshibola they could look at last season's evidence and for McCormack, they won't be unaware.

Why should we unsettle the rest of the squad in order to shoe-horn in an arsehole who couldn't be bothered to come to work and who refuses to apologise to his boss?
