Andre Moreira - Returned to Atletico Madrid
« on: July 26, 2018, 11:25:15 PM »
I’m not convinced by Jed Steer and certainly not Mark Bunn. Another young lad so will see how he does. Being suggested in a few place he’ll be here for the season

Big, seems to distribute well. Anything that makes Bunn the number 3 is good for me.

22 year old that Atletico thought enough of to give him a long term contract that has another 4 years to run.

Thanks.
So welcome Andre!
And if he turns out to be 2/3 to 3/4 as good as Johnson then happy . Can't afford half as good as SJ !
Feel we will miss him but hope this Keeper holds up well and kicks the ball well too!

I would be concerned about him intergrating with the other two GKs but hope they welcome him and he may have to get use to English culture as much as championship. Football culture.  Certainly Bruce will be using that one .

Wolves dare I see had success with portugese players however I will still be envious (sorry) of wba and Johnstone and Stoke if butland remains.

What was necessary was another GK time will tell if he's up to mark but also if Bruce is willing to play and start him .
Maybe this is an indication of who making signings as with due respect is this a Bruce signing or a recommendation.

However I shouldn't discredit Brucey loves a bit if Portugal sun and golf so maybe he saw him out there !

Up the Villa ! Intrigued and welcomed that it's a signing all be it loan !

If he's only played 45 times, I am guessing that every save he's made is on that clip!

Can't believe I've just sat and watched 4mins of video of a goalkeeper who can't hold onto the ball.

Dubious about this one.

GK is one of those positions where I wouldn't actually mind a dull, reliable Steve Bruce signing.  Like the bloke who was at Wolves last year whose name escapes me.

Crosses are a big part of the game here, particularly in the Championship.  Gollini had talent, but couldn't marshal the backline and was gave me kittens any time the ball came in from wide.

Holy cow.

Sweet Bebby Jeezus.

Fuck a duck and then shove an orange in its beak and roast it at 170 degrees (fan oven) until it's well fucked.

Blimey footyskillz. He better be 100% as good as Johnstone any less and he’ll be rubbish. I’m hoping he’s better than Johnstone because our other keepers are awful

Johnstone was ok no more no less and as now departed. Let's look forward and give the lad a chance.
