No brainer...Villa every time but I do have my national pride which is why I always root for England no matter how bad they are.

Always been club for me, I have never taken any interest in the national team but have to say that this bunch are a likeable lot with a great man as manager.

Too many Yorkshiremen in the team to really like them though.

It's club for me, unfortunately.

Club v Country v Yorkshire is a whole other discussion :)

I would have swapped a heavier defeat against Fulham for a win against Croatia

I've voted club but with the caveat that I have thoroughly enjoyed this world cup and England's progress. It has been a wonderful distraction from the shit going on at Villa. I am also still sad this morning about last night.

Club every time for me. Have enjoyed the World Cup and England's progress, but it if was Villa losing in a semi final I would be a lot more upset.

Up until this WC I would have said club. The last 15 years of watching and trying to support a bunch of clowns had me losing interest. But Southgate and this squad have put my passion back for England. I was just as nervous y-day (and ultimately disappointed) as the play-off final.

I'd sooner see Villa win the FA cup in the next 10 years than England winning the World Cup. Both would be ideal though. I don't really get too arsed about England unless like last night they are in a semi final. Seen too many quarter final or worse defeats over the years, so I just cynically think it's the norm. To be fair though I am the most interested I've been since about 2002 after this and you have to give them credit for getting this far.

Football - both my clubs over England every time.

Cricket - Totally different, England over Warwickshire.

Always Villa, but watching the World Cup and England has been a great distraction from events at VP. My stomach did churn a little when I realised how close the start of the season is.
