When they sacked him they were on a 10 league game winless run, and a league run of W3 D6 L15 including the previous season.

How can these two be in the top six?  Mind you itís probably how crap we look to neutrals most of the time.

Often you watch other teams and think their crap when they are just like your own team.

We resemble Boro more than WBA for me.

Even more now with their late goal.

Two, not great sides.  I honestly haven't seen anything to fear in the division yet.  I think Stoke will come good and Leeds look sharp, Brentford will be strong but I think Villa will be very strong again.

I didn't bother watching the Boro v Albion game. Would I be right to presume it wasn't a classic? I didn't bet on it but I fancied it would be a draw.

It wasnít a classic by any stretch.
But most, if not all, championship games on the telly are infinitely more entertaining than the premier league games.

Could have done with that being a draw. Boro will be tough, boring bastards to beat as usual. They have Leeds and Norwich away next though, they'll do well to get more than two points from them.

Had it on WM and had to turn down the sound start of second half as I was honestly dozing off.

Thing is Boro will win 20 odd games in this fashion. They've already won 4 out of 5 and don't think they've conceded in the league since the first game.

Would be surprised if they're not top 2 as boring as they are.

The ones I drink with were moaning about him in the pub half an hour after the first game. I had to point out that while they were  laughing at our financial plight, we were forced to sell him for the money. I grinned, they are stil trying to work out the irony.

I know I should't have been surprised at how bad Boro were going to be but Pulis really is a true football dinosaur. Their fans will turn on him eventually. It was woeful to watch.

A number of Boro fans turned on Pulis after their playoff defeat at VP, on the radio phone in on the way home.
