Announced as the new partner and will be emblazoned across the kit next season.

I might be wrong but didnt they shit on us last time and bailed out as soon as things started to go a bit pear shaped on the pitch?

Aston Villa are delighted to announce the renewal and extension of their relationship with Kindred Group which will see 32Red become the club’s new Principal Partner and Unibet continuing as an Official Partner.

32Red is a multiple award-winning online casino and will have their company logo feature on the club’s new home and away shirts.

And the Unibet logo, which appeared on last season’s shirts, will now feature across all first-team trainingwear.

Aston Villa’s Chief Commercial Officer, Luke Organ, said: "We are thrilled to be partnered with Kindred Group once again this season in a wider and more targeted partnership.

"This season we will welcome back 32Red (a subsidiary of Kindred Group), a previous partner of the club, whilst we see a continuation of the great work with Unibet.

"Throughout the first year of our relationship, Unibet successfully delivered multiple ‘bettor experiences’ for Aston Villa’s loyal supporters, ensuring at every opportunity they provided a unique and exciting engagement for our fans. The last 12 months has seen a fruitful relationship develop and we very much look forward to building on that for the seasons ahead."

Neil Banbury, General Manager UK at the Kindred Group, said: "We are delighted to continue our partnership with Aston Villa. 32Red has a successful history in football sponsorship and will look to build on the fantastic work done by the Unibet brand last season.

“The 32Red logo won’t look out of place adorning the famous claret and blue with both brands priding themselves on excitement and entertainment. The likes of which has made 32Red an industry-leader in online casinos.“

"Unibet will continue to reward the legions of loyal Villans with “bettor” experiences as Official Betting & Gaming Partner and we look forward to seeing the logo on the club’s official training wear.”

No.

I know someone who was the commercial director of 32 Red at the time (it turned his children into Villa fans, apparently).

He told me that from the minute Randy took over, he was desperate to get out of the deal, and that it cost them absolute peanuts. Not one of Doug's best deals.

They've sponsored Rangers through tough financial times (and Sunderland?). Maybe they pay peanuts. Still, their last season with us was the wonderful 2007-08, maybe they can bring some casino luck.

Like it or not, there's no doubt it's big business these days, so as long as we are getting a good deal I'm a bit "meh" on it!

They were our kit sponsors in 06/07.

Think Acorns was the next season.

I know it's part of the game, and lord knows we need the money, but does there really need to be all the fluff? "Providing unique and exciting engagement for our fans", "thrilled to partnered with..." etc.  Don't get me wrong, I'd take ISIS money at the moment, I just find the bullshit at bit much. I'd be surprised if anyone is "delighted" to be associated with us at the moment!

With recent events I wonder if they are checking the small print of the contracts. And no you're not SE.
