Aston Villa are delighted to announce the renewal and extension of their relationship with Kindred Group which will see 32Red become the club’s new Principal Partner and Unibet continuing as an Official Partner.

32Red is a multiple award-winning online casino and will have their company logo feature on the club’s new home and away shirts.

And the Unibet logo, which appeared on last season’s shirts, will now feature across all first-team trainingwear.

Aston Villa’s Chief Commercial Officer, Luke Organ, said: "We are thrilled to be partnered with Kindred Group once again this season in a wider and more targeted partnership.

I know someone who was the commercial director of 32 Red at the time (it turned his children into Villa fans, apparently).

He told me that from the minute Randy took over, he was desperate to get out of the deal, and that it cost them absolute peanuts. Not one of Doug's best deals.

They've sponsored Rangers through tough financial times (and Sunderland?). Maybe they pay peanuts. Still, their last season with us was the wonderful 2007-08, maybe they can bring some casino luck.

I know it's part of the game, and lord knows we need the money, but does there really need to be all the fluff? "Providing unique and exciting engagement for our fans", "thrilled to partnered with..." etc.  Don't get me wrong, I'd take ISIS money at the moment, I just find the bullshit at bit much. I'd be surprised if anyone is "delighted" to be associated with us at the moment!
