Great story. Is The Green Man pub the one near Wembley that backs onto the river? I have been there a few times for games and gigs but not for a quite a while.
Glad you got it back, TheIrishVillain.Does something to restore your faith in people.I really wanted to ask you, ‘Apart from that, how was your day at Wembley?’ Sorry it was such a long way to come for that result, but I hope you had a good time until the final whistle. UTV!

UTV!Hi Louzie0,Of course the result was disappointing but I would definitely do it all over again. The pre-match atmosphere on the bit of a green down from the Green Man Pub was fantastic. I been following Villa since the early 1990's when the team had some big Irish players in the squad like McGrath, Houghton, Townsend & Staunton. So i'm in it for the long haul now
Great stuff! This isn't Padraic who I shared a taxi with to Wembley, by any slim chance, is it?
