As things currently stand our starting line up for next season could be:

Steer

Bree
Chester
Jedinak
Elmohammady

Bjarnasson
Hourihane
Grealish

Adomah
Kodjia
Green

with a bench of
Sarkic
Whelan
Lansbury
Doyle-Hayes
OHare
RHM
Hogan
Davis

Until something changes, with Green and Kodjia fully recovered that is arguably as strong as last year and a team i would get right behind.

Except there's no chance of getting out of this mess and having that as a team.

Be amazed if half that starting line up are still here.

Like I said, Until something changes. Little did we know but as it turns out, at the start of the playoff final there was as much chance of us playing Premier League football as Division 6 football. Until anything is confirmed by the club i'm not going to worry about it.

We will always be Aston Villa, that, if nothing else will prevail and we will always be able to get 11 blokes out on the grass on a Saturday afternoon to get behind. The rest is just a soap opera.

This is the happy thread son, go pedal your misery somewhere else ;)

There's happy, and there are things that just can't happen.  A team with Grealish and Chester starting for us next season belongs firmly in the latter.

Hullo Clouds, Hullo Sky !
( Brian Green is probably the only person other than me old enough to get this obscure Fotherington - Thomas quote, but it probably sums up the tone of this thread quite well )

So there is absolutely no way we can get taken over/bought out and the money situation appeased. Absolutely no chance Dr X can find a way to get his money out of China before selling the only players who can get us back to the premier league? when i see them holding up another teams shirt then ill get down about it.

Are there? You must walk fast. Which I suppose you would be if you were going to the pub...

Devonshire and Black Swan?

Indeed!
I thought last night what an irony it would be if my 'Life-Club' were to meet my 'Adopted Club' on the way through their respective journeys. Unlikely? - maybe.

10 Devonshire and Swan On The Stray, Empress is okay as well. I'll revise first two to 15 minutes!

It's been a while since I was in either! Name changes etc. Empress was a bit meh back in the day. Woodlands was ok when it had the old tap room and was in Guinness Book of Records for having the most Pub Signs... one for each season.

I need a beer.
