We are thinking about Boxpark. Close to the ground, kids welcome.

Ickenham and Hillingdon have bigger car parks and are closer to the M40.  Even Uxbridge is worth considering as you can park in the centre and there is a direct tube to Wembley.

Yep, I'd do those rather than Rayners Lane.

However, Hillingdon filled up really early last year. I'll probably go straight to Intu Uxbridge this time

We park our minibus at Sudbury Town Tube. Cheap, always empty. Easy walk along Harrow Rd to Wembley.

Parking up on a "park on my drive.com" location just off The Ealing Road - short 20 minute walk to the stadium - looking out for boozer to watch the game in - ticketless, but there to take in the atmosphere

It will be a stroll from Euston to Baker St for me. Probably the Metropolitan Bar or The Volunteer.

Dead easy to get the tube at Baker St and then 2 stops and hey presto, Wembley.

Anyone got any idea of the pubs around Wembley that will show the game? I've heard the Arch will but are there anymore?

VCTM, my understanding is that pubs within 1 mile of Wembley Stadium cannot show the game live - Certainly, Boxpark show that on their website. If I cannot pick up a ticket around Wembley (My 2 sons are in the Derby part of Club Wembley), then I'll be heading to somewhere like Kilburn on the tube to watch it in a pub there.

On the whole I thought the rail travel was very well done with trains and tubes plentiful carriages and regular. A few less stops on the LNW service down would have been welcome but overall well managed.

The Arch was extremely lively yesterday - 4 of us came down from Liverpool and we had a brilliant day even without tickets
The atmosphere was electric - the large crowd on the " grassy knoll" reminded me a bit of Rotterdam `82

The Zeelo service on Coach 19 from Sutton Coldfield left half an hour late, lost touch with the coach it was following, went on the M1 while the rest went M40, driver asked passengers if they knew the way, got absolutely jammed on the Harrow Road dual carriageway, told all the passengers to get and walk about 2km to the stadium, and to come to 35 Brentfield Road after the game to find the coach (I personally and others helped a chap with a walking stick to climb over the Armco barrier to get off the road). Big, big assumption the everyone had a mobile phone equipped with Google Map and knew how to use it.

...otherwise no problems.

Faultless return journey on M40.

Blimey something similar to that happened to me back in 1971 when the Midland  Red driver travelling from Worcester  followed signs " to the  football ground" he tried to drop us off outside Vicarage Road
One of the passengers ended up giving the driver directions
