Can anyone suggest any Train stations outside of London we can drive to from Brum, ditch the car for 24-36 hours and train it in ?

Hillingdon. £2.60 to park on a Saturday.

The Green Man - cracking pub, full of Villa.

But seriously folks, Kilburn gets my vote for drinky poos.

We were drinking in Kilburn before and after the Liverpool and Arsenal games

National Express coaches are up on their site, leaving Digbeth at 1000, 1050 and 1200.  25 quid return for adults.

Are the club running coaches from Villa Park or have they given the job to Zeelo?

I asked a young person at work to find me some train times as each time is used train line or Chiltern direct was getting lots of differing rising prices.

They told me to use a site called Trainsplit as it find best deals

Now have direct train - no reserve seating

Moor st - 09.15 - arrive Marylebone  11.11

Rtn

Marylebone 22.10 - 00.04

£31.50

Not bad at all

Bastard pain in the arse booking that.

Wolverhampton to Stafford
Stafford to Euston

Marylebone to B'ham Moor Street
B'ham New Street to Wolverhampton

Thought i'd got it all sorted yesterday including bargain £10 each return tickets for the three of us but when the tickets came this morning from (London Northwestern Railway) it was just one return ticket for £30. I'm absolutely certain it was £10 each and i booked three yesterday morning. Oh well, had to rebook today and it's cost me another £50 or so

I've gone for Trainsplit. Moor Street to Wembley Stadium, flexible return. Only condition is we have to go through High Wycombe. £31 return each. Going early, might try Kilburn. Just picked up the tickets, I assume Moor Street still only has the one ticket machine?
