I've gone for Trainsplit. Moor Street to Wembley Stadium, flexible return. Only condition is we have to go through High Wycombe. £31 return each. Going early, might try Kilburn. Just picked up the tickets, I assume Moor Street still only has the one ticket machine?

I'm not sure re: ticket machines, but I think every train from Marylebone to Moor Street goes via High Wycombe. You don't need to leave the train.

Bearing  in mind that I will not be able to get home Saturday  night back to the NW - hope Danny sorts the Clay Oven again

Highly unlikely the Clay Oven would ever have Villa back after last time.

Moore Spice 1966 this time.

It doesn't on Network Rail. Have you selected to go from Snow Hill rather than Moor Street?

An aside, no train between 2110 and 2220, which is the last train. That last one is going to be absolutely fucking rammed, especially if it goes to extra time. Will they put on any other trains or at least extra carriages?

They are putting extra trains on to Manchester on Saturday, even though FA Cup Finalists get fewer tickets than we will and most Man United fans don't live there.

Wealdstone FC likely to have more fans there in the club house than they ever had before a game at their ground all season.

I was at the Clay Oven for the semi final and final and had a great time - nice venue ......did some idiots ruin it?
I didn't see any incidents

I was in there before and after the final - didnt see any trouble but believe some idiots who didnt go the game were scrapping at the end of the match.  Great venue and was very welcoming.  Plus was cheap as houses.

Can anyone suggest any Train stations outside of London we can drive to from Brum, ditch the car for 24-36 hours and train it in ?

Warwick Parkway has massive car park.

Don't think they all stop which might be park of the ticket restriction. That caught me out a few years ago when ironically I went to Fulham away.

Doesn’t look like they have to stop.

Just checked the restrictions on mine; "Valid only for travel via (changing trains or passing through) High Wycombe."

If you search the timetable from Marylebone to Moor Street, then search the timetable from Marylebone to Moor Street, via High Wycombe, you'll see that they are exactly the same. Any train from Marylebone is fine.

In that case you're fine as they do all go through Wycombe, stopping or not.

Semi final was fine, the final was a different matter.

9.10pm train back means I can get the last local service back to Stour.
