Championship attendances
« on: May 10, 2018, 10:52:00 PM »
Full info Here

This is the average number of away fans at that ground.

And average attendance if you take out the away fans.

Us.

Leeds stopped us getting 5k at Ipswich by being twats and they're entitled to a bigger allocation at the Sty.

In terms of percentage of away tickets sold, we would be top of that easily.

Absolutely disgraceful that we are not top of every list going.

Our fans are abysmal.

Leeds would have taken 3 million.

Etc etc etc.

"We are top of the percentage of away tickets sold league, I said we are top of the percentage of away tickets sold league." I like it, it's catchy.

sha would want a civic parade if they ever managed that.

That average number of away fans table is interesting - more would rather go to Small Heath than Villa (which they'll probably get v. excited about) and Wolves are right down towards the bottom of the list.

Boro bottom. Only us and Leeds took a full allocation there. Leeds made more noise, probably.

That is very impressive for Leeds given how long they have been shite.

Isn't that due to them giving bigger allocations than we do?

Yes I agree, probably the most loyal fans in the country, since they've been 14 seasons out of the top flight.

No point in having as we all know the loudest noisiest ground by a million decibels  is in Small Heath.

I'd imagine it's more likely that our games were more consistently fucked about with by telly companies.

So we've the biggest aggregate, despite being on TV far more than the rest and having kick offs messed about.

I'm surprised at the away attendances at each ground, though Fulham and Barnsley must be a good day out!
