My retro Umbro tops arrived today. Absolutely gorgeous, I couldn't be happier. I would echo the opinion that you should probably go a size down from your normal as I took a gamble on a small and they fit perfectly - I wear medium in literally every other tshirt/jumper/top I own. The material is exactly what I expected a retro football top be made from - not cottony at all for those interested.

Any international buyers: it took 10 days between getting the email confirming they'd shipped to getting them at my door in New Zealand. I got 25% off because it was my first order after registering with Fanatics plus free international shipping via a discount code I googled so they cost me the grand total of $58NZ - roughly 30 quid.

Hardest part of the whole thing has been the wife intercepting them and putting them away for the kids to give me at Xmas.

*EDIT to add that both the home and away are now showing all sizes in stock but the price has jumped from $38.56 to $44.99. I'm not sure whether this is just for the international Fanatisc site or the UK one too, however.

Just to echo, I have both the 1980 tops, and they are top notch quality, way better than the thick material they used to use on them.

I played well at 5-a-side in mine. Rolled back the years....

I had this season's away kit on at 5-a-side last night.  Scored 3 and set up 2.  Setting traps all over midfield I was. (Cunningly disguised as giving the balla way a lot).

Well I pulled my socks up, got my boots on, and did all that was asked of me. Which was nothing as we don't have a manager.

I have got the 1980 away shirt now. Its just beautiful there are no other words for it.

It has been described as 'classy'. But these are not my words. These are the words of an Eintracht Frankfurt supporting German friend.

Decent price as well, as I've seen other reissues by other clubs selling at the same price as current replicas.

Really happy with it. And yes they do run a little large but that's fine by me.

Can't see my nipples through it though as I had been warned.

Overall a lovely shirt, I may get the home one at the end of the season.

You could see mine the other night. Mind it was a bit chilly and they were cold.

I know it's sacrilege but I don't really like two lions on the shirt. Sorry.

Bugger. Hadn’t realised this was no longer available. Was just looking online and couldn’t find it.

Have to say, the fact that with Christmas fast approaching, stocks of items that I want are dreadful (i.e. zero)- we never seem to have our shelves fully stocked at what is a massive selling period do we?
