i quite liked the stripey Hummel top back then and I do still a bit now. It is eye-jarring though. Seem to recall a pic of George Best wearing the white away one on the cover of the programme, unless I’m completely wrong?

I would love it if the designs where like that and the white away one would be brilliant Robbo

I remember Alan Green commentating on one of our games and describing that kit from a distance as the colours of raspberry and blancmange and he was right. Apologies for referencing Alan Green.

im in some facebook villa groups, mainly to watch the games on dodgy streams if i cant get down VP. it is astounding the level of fuckwittery from a portion of our fans. I cant believe the level of objection to a ground breaking idea like this. I swear they would rather nike churn out some mass production print offs and get them for sale mid october than embrace a local lad and give him a chance.

I know, those idiots on Facebook have absolutely no concept of a tripartite technical kit partnership.

Alan Green (sigh)  Got in the car last night, turned on the radio only to hear him on Radio 5 commentating on the Liverpool V Roma game. I thought it couldn't get any worse until he asked his 'expert summeriser' Robbie Savage about the game. FFS

You'd only need one shot if you lined it up right.

Forgetting sentimental reasons, I absolutely hated that kit. It's bloody awful!

Probably because of my age I have always been fond of these two.
