Luke logo will be on shirt, press release says so. Fanatics are the ones manufacturing it.
Fanatics also running the club shop

Whoever has been in charge of merchandising should be shot, they can not even get a replica shirt that looks decent.

I have just received two mugs in a 'Fanatics' box. Both mugs were scuffed and not in pristine condition. Not cool when they are intended as gifts.

i quite liked the stripey Hummel top back then and I do still a bit now. It is eye-jarring though. Seem to recall a pic of George Best wearing the white away one on the cover of the programme, unless I’m completely wrong?

It aint rocket science for the home shirt. Claret body, blue sleeves. Any deviation from that will be pure shite.

The striped Hummel kit from the 80s, and the Asics kit from the 90s were garbage.

If you want proper garbage, look to that Henson one.

Probably because of my age I have always been fond of these two.

I'm a similar era to you but I preferred the 90/91 home shirt that was the same style as that away one.

We wore that white away shirt for 3 seasons. It was ace.

I loved it when Denmark wore it and every bit as much when we had it

It really was but it still gives me nightmares about being cheated at the San Siro.

Yep, the henson one was pretty poor effort as well. Add to that the diadora solid claret one.

Yeah I do like that one as well, I remember seeing Platt and Daley at Villa Park wearing that one.

I was born in 77 and had that 86 Hummel shirt, I use to find it uncomfortable where the stripes were and not particularly attractive. My first kit was 83/84 which I still see as a classic, especially the away one.

Wasn't it Henson, the 86 kit? without a badge on it?

I've still got my Hummel away kit, the stripey one from the promotion season. Seems to have shrunk a bit though..... is it worth anything?

They regularly fetch anything from £60-130 ( ish) on EBay.
I liked those kits at the time , but preferred the following Hummel ones. Particularly the away one -white with black arms.

In the clip posted earlier in this thread, Luke actually mentions the famous claret body shirt wit wide blue strip up middle of it

We had another Hummel kit in the early 2000's didn't we?  Seem to remember the away kit being pretty decent.
