"Some of the Ipswich players need to look themselves in the face"

His face looks like it got slapped very hard four times by The Villa

I think it was that red anyway from the ultimate slap in 1981.

Thanks very much TV. Have just been telling my son who ironically , is in Toronto at the moment. His Canadian girlfriend took him to see Toronto play a Mexican team the other night and he reckons the locals are captained by ex Villa Michael Bradley. Can this be right or has he just been overindulging in the local Maple flavoured lager ?

We're on our way! We're on our way!

Grabban is a top player in this league.

As comfortable as they come that.

No he’s 100% right on all counts. We played Chivas Guadalajara in the CONCACAF Champions League final. Lost the first leg 1-2 but TFC has been great and are more than capable of rescuing it in the second leg. And Villa legend Michael Bradley has been brilliant as team captain. I still believe unde the right circumstances he would have been a very good player for Villa. But then again we could probably say the same about a lot of players we’ve had over the past few years who have left the club.

In Cheltenham General hospital with a poorly Mrs Crump so haven’t been able to follow v closely but well done Villa and I hope Cardiff do slip up because on the evidence of last evenings game I would fancy our chances against anyone else in the Playoffs except Fulham, who do look a properly good footballl team in all fairness.

My very best wishes to Mrs Crump.

This might be your Legion (Sunderland 6-0) moment Mr Shin. You now know what to do the rest of the way...

There you go. Create the pre Match Thread interjecting your new found wit and then disappear until full time.

True, I always rated him and was surprised he didn’t thrive at VP. Too many players have left us and gone on to continue to play well elsewhere for my liking.
