We will forever owe these bumpkins one for Mick Mills’ weasely behaviour after that famous game at VP. Away win.
The 1-2 ?
what did Mills do?

2nd place isn't a mathematical impossibility just yet, is it?

Strongest team should be out. Taylor isn't playing well, so he could be 'rested'.

If you ever hear John Wark, he's still bitter about it stating that Villa never won it but they lost it!!
Didn’t we win more games that season than any team in any of the divisions?

I know we won three more games and got four more points than Ipswich did. The points gap between us and Ipswich was the same as the points gap between Ipswich and fourth placed West Brom.

We won 26 games, West Ham won 28 to win the second division. Southend won 30 games to win the fourth division but they played four more games than us and West Ham.

With the greatest of respect Alan, let it go. If it had been 3 points for win, we would have been out of sight before your Boro debacle.

Sorry guys, don't ask me why but I just have feeling Ipswich might nick the win.  The pressures off them, our away form isn't the best, and you get funny results this time of the season.  2-1 to the home side. Snodgrass to ours.

0-2 in Bosko Jankovic RIP ‘derby’

Snodgrass and Albert to both get back to a little form with a goal apiece

If I recall correctly, basically took the piss, telling our lads they’d won the league, blah blah blah. He genuinely believed they’d won the league that night. The fool.

In 1981 Paul Cooper, Kevin Beattie , Russell Osman, John Wark and Kevin O'Callaghan beat the Germans in Escape To Victory.

In 1982 Nigel Spink, Allan Evans, Ken McNaught, Gordon Cowans and Tony Morley beat the Germans in the European Cup final.

In the interest of balance and fairness they should show Escape To Victory on BBC1 every Boxing Day and the 1982 European Cup final on ITV every Boxing Day.

Draw

We’re basically guaranteed to finish fourth and that will show, with the priority being sharpness for the play offs

Think we'll nick it given Ipswich don't have a manager. Certainly won't be a classic, 0-1 would be my guess off a set piece.

At least Derby and Millwall will have big game feels as looks like we'll be getting 40k for Derby and them and Millwall both have chances of top 6 so I think tomorrow will be a bit of a low key end of season feel and the next two will hopefully get us sharp for the play offs.

It doesn't really matter. Suspect this will have all the drama of a preseason game
