Brassneck, you missed out my favourite

i cannot wait until people in this thread start receiving their tickets

Quality - I don't know how I managed to miss that gem but well spotted, it brought a smile to my face anyway.

You can't do right for doing wrong with the deluded fuckers can you. At least they can watch telly tonight and gauge how they would get on against Juventus.

They really are starting to get on my tits now. Like when my son beats me at Monopoly by stealing cash from the bank or something.

You don't want to be annoyed with them. In fact, you could explain a life lesson about fair play and how you shouldn't be gloating at a better Monopoly player when you have stacked the cards in your favour. To accept both victory and humiliation with grace.

But, deep down, his behaviour makes me want to flip the board upside down and tell him to fuck off.

The difference is Charlie is 7. I don't know a gobby fan of them that is under 30.

One thing I do love is how the other local clubs all use us as a measure of their success. Cov and their weird obsession, the Bitters and the "We know what we are" shite, sha and the shifts of power that last about a month if they're lucky, and now out of nowhere Wolves have a decent season and may finish above us for the time in 38 years and they're obsessing about us. Creaming themselves with excitement, as they scream "Mind the Gap" to each other. A gap that for 37 was never mentioned by them and certainly not by us. Such a strange bunch.

We could have sold 45k-50k against Small Heath given the demand for tickets. This should be a bigger crowd than that as it's a much bigger game, but it won't be.

Yes don't understand it either. Thought we'd get 40k for this easily, it's a game that sells itself surely?!

Anything under 40k would be disappointing for such a big game.

According to the OS, 36,400 sold currently, 38,500 crowd expected. Poor that.

It's only Wolves. It's their cup final, not ours.

Nothing wrong with 38K+ for a second division game live on TV.

IIRC when we beat Albion twice in a week, the first game (the league one) had a really poor crowd (30k ish), however the atmosphere was brilliant.

Hopefully Saturday will be similar.

The second highest gate in the championship this season. Very poor indeed.
