Although a rest is helpful, a ten day break with reduced training due to weather may be less so

Jack and Adomah should be back

Grabban up front for me

The rest picks itself

Jack could possibly be on the bench with a 25 minute run out at the end - He seems slightly behind AA.. I would also start Grabban, especially with it being his old club.

I think that AA in for Onomah is a no brainer. I just wonder whether he felt we were slightly light in midfield last week and look to go back to one up front, with Hogan being the lone striker.

Of the fixtures in March, this was the one that worries me for unexpected dropped points. Always wary when we play "fallen giants" similar to ourselves. Should be routine so will go with my head and ignore the nagging doubt. 0-2

Sunderland seem to have a knack of scrapping draws, which concerns me, but we really should have nothing to fear if we turn up. 1-3 and essential to keep on track for automatic and to be positive going into The Wolves game.

They've lost 7 out of the last 11, including being beaten by SHA and Bolton.  Terrible side, there's no excuse for not battering them.

Played 35 and lost 17. Seems they have a habit of being really shit.

Yes we must be professional, work harder than them, but there is absolutely no excuse not to beat them. They've won 11 in 73 games. They are utter fucking shite.

We need to be the team pressing from start. The last thing we want to do is to stand off them and give them space.Pressure from the off from us will bring mistakes from them and if we can get their crowd restless early on we should leave with the 3 points.

I wouldn't disagree. We need an energy about us.as first goal can be key. Concentration has done for a few sides against them, but I'm hopefully we will be ruthless. Wouldn't surprise me if he went with;

Johnstone

Taylor
Terry
Chester
Elmo

Adomah
Hourihane
Whelan
Snoddy

Grabban
Hogan

With Grabban having licence to drop deep and pull wide.

As long as we're professional about this, I can find nothing to suggest we won't win.

0-something, perm two or three from Hogan, Grabban, Hourihane, Snodgrass, one of our returnees. Fuck me, we've got some firepower for this division.

If Grealish is fit I’d drop Hogan and bring him in. We need to get at them from the off.
