What was their complaint about the ref? I don’t remember nothing controversial, and the pen was stone wall.

Great day out, but a very old and crap ground, 3 points that were not up for grabs after 70 minutes but taken back to B6 after 90+. Great fun on the tram and some good pubs during the day. The team at the end in front of us were a joy to watch, Brucey not my type of manager, but he has brought this club around and it's nice to have players that care and we care about them.

Can’t agree about the “crap ground” bit. Hillsborough is a fantastic stadium and always has been.

It's dated run down and not fit for purpose.  That end should have been bulldozed down in 89

As a club they didn't behave at all 'honourably' over the disaster, and only belatedly and grudgingly put up the smallest memorial they could get away with. Sod them.

It seems to be based purely on numbers, that he only gave 1 foul against us all game, even though not one of them have managed to come up with a questionable incident that should of been foul number 2.

They seem to have missed that lump they have up front controlling the ball with his left forearm for that chance they had before we went in front.

Just sore losers then because there was absolutely no controversial incidents that I can remember. Mind you I had a few beers in me.

None of them are Villa, so by definition they are all without exception shite.

Last season, opening game, there was a real squeeze getting away from the top tier, very uncomfortable.

As said, that whole End should have been replaced.

You’re right about the difficulty in getting out. It was the same yesterday in the upper tier. Despite that it’s still one of my favourite grounds.
