Thor and Jedi have both been decent in the holding role recently. One had to drop out but both of them, for Whelan? Odd choice, can only think there are fitness issues and he’s thinking about the run in.

For a team with the supposed strongest squad in the Championship, Bruce doesn't show much evidence of using the assets he's got when there are injuries, just the same old re-jigging of his favourite players.

That side has a dull defeat written all over it, why play Whelan when Thor has been impressive. O'Hare not even being on the bench seems a waste too. Hope im proven wrong.

It's worrying that we can all basically see exactly how this game is going to pan out with that starting XI. It's either an open 4-4-2 where Hourihane and Whelan won't be good enough to control the centre on their own, OR a 4-2-3-1 with Grabban out wide, out of position, and no clever service to Hogan who will undoubtedly be bottom of the 'touches' chart today. Neither of those options spell 'WIN' to me.

Of course I'd love to be proved spectacularly wrong.

Your right Keeno. I hope it's not a 4 4 2 or we will get over run very quickly.

I’ve honestly never heard of 6 of Wednesdays starting line up so if we can’t ein today something is definitely wrong.

Did Bruce not say yesterday that O'Hare would definitely be involved? Must be another injury.

I'd honestly swap Hogan and Grabban round - let Scott try and time some direct runs in behind the defence from the left hand side and allow Grabban with his decent-looking feet and physical presence to be the central striker. That's perhaps a bit complex though for Brucie

Not thrilled to see the spuds loanee still there. Must be written in the contract to be playing no matter how shit he plays.

Can we get a journalist to ask? It worked under Lamberk and Cleverly was promptly dropped next match.

Trust Bruce won’t change it till we’re 2 down. God I’m fucked off.

Strange line up and makes no sense to me.
We have to hope he knows what he is doing.

With that midfield is anyone confident of that?!
